B&M to become 24-hour gym
A B&M store in Immingham is set to be transformed into a new 24-hour gym, with plans now approved.
The unit on Kennedy Way will be taken over by Snap Fitness, an international gym operator with multiple locations across the UK and worldwide. The company already runs several gyms in the Lincolnshire area, including sites in Gainsborough, Spalding and Retford.
A change-of-use application was approved in January 2026, ahead of the closure of the B&M store, paving the way for the building to be converted into a modern fitness facility.
Plans show the gym will include a range of exercise equipment, along with a dedicated studio space for classes and training.
The new Snap Fitness site is expected to open in summer 2026.
The company has been contacted for a comment.
